Day 102

  1. I think that you would be a better photographer if you avoided taking pitch black photos. Honestly, I think anyone is capable of taking black photographs. It doesn't require much skill. :/ Use flash, or turn on the lights, or use your photo editing software...
I was really surprised when I saw the actual photo: http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a125/hlownes/Day102.jpg

  2. You do realise the photograph isn’t pitch black? It is on the darker end of lighting, yes, but it is as intended. While I do take photographs that are much brighter, I do not wish to take bright photographs all the time.

As for flash and artificial lighting, I try to avoid it as much as possible but will use it when I feel needed. This is one of the photographs that didn’t need artificial lighting (especially seeing as I would have found getting a half-decent photograph extremely difficult with flash). As for editing my photographs, I personally rely on skill alone in attempt of getting a great photograph and hence do not edit my photographs.

  3. This photograph does need artificial lighting. The photo is pitch black, and your viewers won't see the picture as anything more than an image of black pixels. It's not an impressive picture, and if someone tries to see something, they're only going to strain their eyes.

  4. To you the photo is pitch black. While viewed on my camera and laptop this photo is dark but it can be seen; hence my basis on posting it online, I can see the photograph perfectly fine on two mediums.
